NEVER SAY NEVER
Berry James

Justin Bieber's new film, which you've probably heard about, Never say Never. The sentence people who enjoyed this movie use to summarise it is "find out what's possible if you never give up". The title of this film reminds many people of his hit song, Never say Never which he sings with Jaden Smith (Will Smith's son), for the movie Karate Kid (in which Jaden Smith stars in). This movie is basically about Justin Bieber's life, and how he never gave up. It encourages people to follow their dreams and never give up on them: Never say Never. I would probably give this movie a 7.2 out of 10. If you're a fan of JB, you'll probably enjoy this film, but if you're not, you probably won't. Many famous people appear in this movie, such as Usher, Miley Cyrus, Snoop Dog and many more.

The movie contains many videos from concerts, interviews to his fans and videos an images from he was younger. However, whether you like or dislike this pop sensation, you must admit he used to be adorable.

Justin Bieber has gone from unknown talent to international superstar in only a few years, but is there enough of a story in his 16-year-old life to sustain a 2 hour documentary? While it succeeds as a concert film, it struggles to be the uplifting documentary that was promised. Many critics have given this movie low ratings due to its lack of plot, and have criticised it as a "waste of an hour and a half".

Moving on to music, all of his songs appear in the movie, mostly his 2 hit singles Down to Earth and That Should be Me.

ENGLISH VERSION

Three meters above the sky.  I’m not sure you’ve heard about it much, but this film is based on the book by the Italian writer Federicco Moccia. The newest version is Spanish, but it has been such a success that I don´t doubt they will adapt it to English. In it, we are told the love story between a boy, Step, and a girl, Babi, who attends a high school specialized in humanistic subjects in Rome. We could say that this story summaries a bit our way of living, of staying in company and living the first love stories. This film is about a love story of two people who go through their wonderful story, with all the enthusiasm, the mistakes and the excitement of the first crush. However the film shows us another world too, a less known and less taken for granted one, made of clandestine races, marijuana cigarettes and sex, where the parents’ advice seem to be distant and unhelpful. Are you ready to feel pain and rejoice with Step & Babi in “Three meters above the sky”?

Moving on to the music subject ; “Something’s Triggered” , by Cecilia Krull appears more than once in this magnificent film. Also, in the background there are often some Spanish songs such as “A ras de cielo” and “La tormenta de arena”.

“When you´re speeding through life, not caring about anything, someone, someone special appears and tells you to loosen up. And when you do loosen up, you realize things that didn´t exist to you before.”
