the Alfred Bauer Prize – in memory of the festival founder – for a feature film that broadens the horizons of the art of filmmaking

The Bears inspired the Berlinale logo and were designed by the Berlin sculptor Renée Sintenis (1888-1965). They have been produced by the Noack Foundry in Berlin since the beginnings of the Berlinale. The bear is also the official symbol of the city of Berlin.

La 58 edición de la Berlinale se cerró hoy con la entrega de los premios de ese festival de cine, cuyo jurado presidió el director griego Constantin Costa Gavras.

La siguiente es la lista de los ganadores de los premios oficiales y otros galardones de jurados independientes.

Oso de Oro: 'Tropa de Elite', de Jose Padilha (Brasil-Argentina).

Premio Especial el Jurado: 'Standart Operating Procedure', de Errol Morris (EEUU).

Oso de Plata al mejor director: Paul Thomas Anderson, por 'There Will Be Blood' (EEUU).

Oso de Plata al mejor Actor: Reza Najie por 'Avaze Gonjeshk-ha' (Song Of Sparrows), de Majid Majidi.

Oso de Plata a la mejor actriz: Sally Hawkins, por 'Happy-Go-Lucky', de Mike Leigh.

Oso de Plata al mejor guión: 'Zuo You' ('In Love We Trust'), de Wang Xiao Shuai.

Oso de Plata a la contribución Artística: 'There Will Be Blood' (EEUU).

Premio Alfred Bauer: 'Lake Tahoe', de Fernando Eimbcke (México).

Premio Opera Prima: 'Asyl - Park and Love Hotel', de Kumazaka Isuru, (Japón).

Premio de la Crítica Internacional FIPRESCI: 'Lake Tahoe', de Fernando Eimbcke (México).

Premio Amnistía Internacional: 'Sleep Dealer', de Alex Rivera (México-EEUU).

Premio Generación 14-Plus: 'Cafe com Leite', de Daniel Ribeiro (Brasil).

Los miembros del Jurado internacional de la Berlinale 2007 y encargado de conceder los premios de la Sección Oficial a Competición han sido: Paul Schrader (presidente), Hiam Abbass, Mario Adorf, Willem Dafoe, Gael García Bernal, Nansun Shi y Malene Stensgaard.
